WHO WE ARE

The Edmond Republican Women (ERW) strive to provide a medium for political education, legislative information and practical service for our members, while promoting the growth, betterment and success of the Republican party, especially at the County level.  ERW was started in 1961 under the guidance of Lucille Gerald.

Our dues grant us membership in the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women (OFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW).  As a member of the ERW, you belong to one of the largest women's political organizations in the country with 100,000 members in 1800 unit clubs in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.

The NFRW is independent from the Republican National Committee (RNC) but still cooperates with and aids the Republican Party in the areas of education, communication, recruitment, campaigning, fundraising and legislative action.
